Fiber optics based computer network
Fibre optics mainly deals with the technology which is having the rays of lights for sending and receiving information over very thin kinds of fiber at a very blinding speed. These fibres are being used as an alternative to conventional copper wire with a lot of applications including visual systems, broadcaste and audio systems, telecommunications, security systems and so on.
Optical fiber is actually a wave of light which mainly consists of the inner part in which the wave propogates and the outer part which is being used to keep the waves in a very core coating which is protective too. It also has an outer protective shield covering it.
Different advantages of the optical fiber includes small size, light weight, high bandwidth, reduce short circuits, fewer repeaters, noise immunity systems, and the transmission security.
