Holographic versatile disk (HVD)
HVD i.e Holographic Versatile Disk is a kind of next to next generation technology, introduced by the very well known scientitsts J.V Heerden. This works with the media type of ultra high density optical disc and has based on the technology of MPEG-2, MPEG-4 AVC and VC-1. The main usage of this technology is in the storage of data, and generating high definition videos and finding out the possibility of the ultra high definition videos. Although there are a very vast amount of features including in this technology but few of the main features includes the data transfer rate of 1 gbps. Not only this, but the technology is designed in such a way that it permits the data to be written over 10 kilobytes and to be read along with, simultaneously in a single flash. Most of the other optical devices which are based on this technology includes CDís and HVDís.
