How WiFi works seminar presentation
WiFi stands for wireless fidelity which is wireless technology for networking. WiFi technology is based on IEEE 802.11 standards. WiFi is a high speed internet connection that can be connected on devices such as smartphones, tablets, personal computers, laptops, digital cameras excetera.
WiFi does not use any cables or the wires to be connected. WiFi uses radio signals to establish a network connection. The WiFi antennas transmit the radio signals to the device connecting to the WiFi such as computers, tablets, smart phones. These devices are also know as WiFi receivers. Receivers can connect to the WiFi through the hotspot.
To create a hotspot, an access point should be installed to the internet connection. These access points transmits radio signals to device which is connected to the hotspot. The hotspot range covers a short distance of 300 feet.
